The UMO School of Physical arts seeks to inspire creative possibility and recognize students’ creative force by giving them a safe place to learn and a variety of tools based on UMO’s dynamic physical theatre.

Our goal is to build strength and confidence in the physical body while integrating play and individual creative expression. We are All Creative Movers!
We have 4 main areas of focus:

UMO Summer Camps

Circus Gymnastics/Circus Character Camp; July 23 to 26 

Aly will teach tumbling, cartwheels, acrobatics, balance and strength training along with a few circus games. CIRCUS CHARACTER class will be creating your own unique characters through movement, dance, costumes and mask.

July 23-26:

  • 1 to 3pm Circus Gymnastics ages 6-8 $140
  • 3 to 5pm Circus Characters ages 8-12 $140

Aerial Summer Open Gym; June 11 to Aug 2 (by permission)

The Black Box aerial space will provide fun and strength training for over the summer so our aerial kids stay strong! 8 weeks, starting Jun 11-Aug 3

  • TUESDAY (Intro B and Aerial 1 students welcome) 3:30 to 5:00
  • THURSDAY (advanced students only) 3:30 to 5:00

Flat fee: $120 drop in rate (1 time a week or 8 times) OR $220 drop in rate (2 times a week or 16 times)

Parkour Outdoor Camp; July 16 to 19 and July 23 to 26 Camp

At Open Space; outdoor parkour course and games, with Abe.

July 16-19:

  • 11 to 1pm ages 9-13 $140
  • 1:30 to 3:30pm ages 6-8 $140

July 23-26

  • 11 to 1pm ages 10+ $140
  • 1:30 to 3:30pm ages 6-8 $140

Aikido 8 weeks Jun 11 to Aug 3

Alex Tokar teaches this fun family friendly group; all ages!

  • TUESDAY 6pm to 7:15pm

Single student $100; Family rate $150
